Recombinant adenoviruses will be produced by homologous recombination in 293A cells.
Steps
- Starting with a recombinant adenovirus transfer vector, E. coli or AdExpress-293A cells will be transformed to yield recombinant adenoviral DNA.
- Generation of recombinant by transfecting AdExpress-293A cells with recombinant viral DNA.
- Plaque purification and identification of the recombinant adenovirus by PCR or Western blot. If no amplicifcation is requested, eluted plaques are delivered to the client.
