Protein Expression using Stable Cell Line
Excellgen uses a novel homologous recombination technology to generate stable cell lines from engineered CHO and 293 cell lines. Using this new technology we can recover targeted cell population as little as 2 weeks, and isolate clones in 3 to 4 weeks. Because the gene of interest is integrated into a predefined transcriptionally active genomic site, predictable transgene expression is guaranteed. Highly stable protein expression has been observed for at least 20 weeks even in the absence of selection agents.
