Description:
This E1/E3 deleted adenovirus expresses Cre recombinase and RFP under the control of a CMV promoter. RFP expression is driven by IRES. Cre recombinase is a type I topoisomerase from P1 bacteriophage that catalyzes site-specific recombination of DNA between loxP sites. This adenovirus can be used for switching on or off the expression of target genes flanked by loxP sites. With eGFP the virus can be also used to determine transduction efficiency and optimize viral infection.
