Description:

This E1/E3 deleted adenovirus expresses Cre recombinase under the control of a CMV promoter. iRFP expression is driven by IRES. Cre recombinase is a type I topoisomerase from P1 bacteriophage that catalyzes site-specific recombination of DNA between loxP sites. This adenovirus can be used for switching on or off the expression of target genes flanked by loxP sites. With iRFP the virus can be also used to determine transduction efficiency and optimize viral infection.
